Cryptonomicon

Hi, my name is Chris and I have been a fan since 1990 when I took a course
on post-war writers at the University of East Anglia, Norwich. Before that,
I had never heard of him. I had actually been a member of this list about 10
years ago, but fell off. Is there an archive that goes that far back? I
would love to see.

I read Snowcrash. It is an amazingly influencial book. But it is so poorly
written than when I read Cryptonomicon, I was astounded by its brilliance.
As a book it won't find immortality; only enough, Snowcrash will. I don't
think Cryptonomicon is a worthy comparison to Pynchon, but I think that
Infinite Jest is.

What say you?
