Hello, a couple of reviews, (generally positive with the now usual
warnings) one from Bookforum, one from (Oprah) O Magazine. The O review is
not online yet it appears. Alot of people in the US get ideas for reading
matter from O. The last part of Vince Passaro's review in O says "Pynchon's
books, for all their wizardry ad social and political insight are fun --
but they are large and they demand a certain bravery before diving in. They
sway softly, blue and deep, Once you're in, you won't want to get out."
http://www.bookforum.com/leclair.html is the link to Tom LeClair's review.
LeClair is a professor of English at the University of Cincinnati.

Subject: TAP review MAJOR WARNING
My string advice: DO NOT READ that TAP review if you haven't finished ATD
yet. Not only is it a load of auld bollocks, but for one particular spoiler
alone the review's author should burn forever in (a suitably Protestant)
hell.
