Friends of mine (ironically, rock 'n' roll and/or
country 'n' western [both kinds!] musicians) work at
what remains of Narada here (a warehouse, essentially,
whatever little else is left has already been taken
away by EMI [but at least they didn't take way all the
old white paper 45 sleeves--woo hoo!]), say that
article is spot on as to what's happened in the
industry.  Record shop people agree as well. 
Proponents of in particular either digital or analogue
media (me, I buy only vinyl these days, but wish i
coudl keep up didgitally as well, diffrent media
simply serve different purposes for me) bicker, but
...

In fact, I gotta thank whoever initially posed that,
I've sent it around, posted it far and wide, and it's
got people talking, productively so, even, like
virtually nothing else I've ever circulated.   Was
even a major topic at the bar last night ...
