Might I point out that, as the veteran of a marathon
JB set which began with an at LEAST ten minute
instrumental introduction during which seemingly every
member of the band was introduced at "The World's
Greatest Saxophonist" regardless of instrument
actually played, the "Enetrtainment Tonight" theme was
played after every other song ("Ba-da-da-da-da-da
...ba-da-Da-DAH!" "What time it is?" "Soul!" "Soul?"
"Soul!" "Soul!" "Can I count if off for you?" ...),
tand The Godfather hisself, MISTER Dynamite, not only
made three full costume changes (red, whit AND lime
green sequined jumpsuits), but threw off the cape and
returned at least a half a dozen times during the
closing "Please Please Please" (which I hope was
palyed at his funeral--"You don't have to go ...") ...
uh, where was I? might In point out that, had JB&TFFs
not stampeded through numbers like "Think" ...
