Amis talking to his readers

'Time's Arrow' is quite good. Relatively short and thought-provoking. The 
premise isn't new (Vonnegut limned it nicely in 'Slaughterhouse 5'), but the 
overall execution is quite impressive. I also heard that 'London Fields', a 
bigger book, was worth a try, but I haven't read it yet.
