Do you live near a university? I bet a good Uni would have these texts. Academic texts are always dear.

I was wondering if anyone knows of any way to basically not pay those absurd prices, i can't imagine TP himself would approve of paying such prices for dead trees.... you know? BUT I REALLY WANT TO CHECK THESE OUT>
Anyone know of any newsgroups that may have scans of this stuff... ebook conversions?? anything?
Is anyone willing to send me a book like this for a somewhat reasonable price??
Has anyone found anything (I've already read pretty much everything on the various TP websites).
An example is Katherine Hume's Pynchon's Mythography... I paid very little (like... <$30) and it was a great read... really informative and insightful, i didn't see nor agree with all she wrote but it's very enjoyable for me to read about my favorite book...
any help would be met with great levels of appreciation.
Thanks,
Bryan
