Question for those seriously obsessed...

Lots of libraries have their inter-library loan requests on-line--just 
fill out the form, and wait for the library to notify you that the book 
has been delivered to your nearest branch--or the book mobile if you 
live in the sticks. (If not on-line--pick up a stack of the forms to 
keep at home)   I have asked for things that the librarian didn't want 
to let go of--they come with instructions and the local librarian has to 
vouch that I know how to handle a book--sometime I order things just to 
keep the locals on their toes....public libraries are very cool, an 
essential function of government, one of the foundations of democracy, 
etc.  Don't get me started on the destruction of the libraries in Iraq...
