Croatian review of AtD

It is not a very thorough review, but what is significant about it, of 
course, is that it is written by somebody who can appreciate better than 
most of us the way Pynchon treats the Balkans in his opus. It is positive, 
and the author lauds Pynchon for his erudition and for his expertise 
vis-a-vis the Balkans-related information he has dug up.

This sentence is a killer: 'Like a genuine bookish hamster Pynchon has 
hoarded in his literary lair a great amount of information'.

One of the biggest Pynchon's merits in this respect is the 'fascinating' map 
of peregrinations through the Balkans that he has created.
