NP networking to find artist/illustrators

I'm helping a friend who is recruiting 3 artists to
work on 3 graphic novels, looking for people with
serious chops who are easy to work with and looking
for something different and new.  They've got money in
place to begin their project, which is interesting,
imo.

Apologies for the non-Pynchon-related post, but I
think some of you may know artists who can draw comic
book style and who might want to know about this
project.

Thanks in advance for any help, you can reply to me
offlist if this isn't particularly interesting to the
rest of the group, especially now that Dave has us off
and running on Against the Day.
