Light over the Ranges

Was particularly lit up by Tim's 3 part idea about light.

I also think this first section in many ways will explore "light" in
terms of three specific ways: "light" in terms of weight/aeronautics
(e.g., the Chums); "light" in terms of visibility/vision/
enlightenment (e.g., Merle Rideout); and "light" as a verb, say in
terms of explosives (e.g., Webb Traverse).

and by robin's note on range as traverse: to range across . The
lives of the Traverses are certainly about to be fully lit.

I thought of the coincident lighting from Tesla's experiment and the
July 4 lightning storm and Webb Traverse's lighting of the dynamite.
I think back to Ben Franklin in M&D, high on coffee and lightning
buzzes, abusy lighting the fuse for 1776. Who will control the primal
forces, will it be free for all, tribal sharing on a larger scale
or will it be a free-for-all, and devil take the hindmost.
