Reminds me of one time on Johnny Carson a long time
ago, Jerry Lewis a guest, talking about how good it
felt to relieve himself in an airplane lavatory while
flying over the State of Mississippi.   Carson had to
apologize on air to the whole state. 

(No offense intended,  Mississippians! My cousin and
her family used to live there and loved it. But, it's
also true that when I was growing up in southwest
Louisiana, they used to say  there are a lot of dumb
people in Louisiana, but the dumbest are the ones who
moved there from Mississippi.  OK, back to your
regularly scheduled programming...)

I expect the novel just gets better with repeated
reading and discussion, like the rest.
