Though I will posit that Beethoven was a re-vivification
of the Thor archetype, in his Promethean fashion, and
that the meme of the Thunder-God continues to grow via
the agency of music, from Liszt/Wagner into Strauss/Mahler 
and eventually into Hendrix and Metal. At this point we should
be hearing some sort of Art Blakey rim-shot with perhaps
a dollop of tympani tossed in for good measure.
