The ref. is to an Odilon Redon lithograph, I think. He was allied
with the fin de siecle Symbolists -- it shows a balloon/eyeball
filling the space of the print. But isn't the eyeball looking up
into space, not down at the ground? I can't put my hands on the
image right now.
