ATDTDA Assessment of Pacing

I would prefer to speed up rather than slow down. But I'm having  
another problem with our  approach.  It is hard to focus on a detail  
in an early chapter when i have 20 pages left of a first read  and  
am  now thinking about the details in relation to the whole.  I was  
thinking of the chapter by chapter p-list read through  more as  a  
second read  paying attention to the details in light of a larger  
sense of the book. Is it  OK to do that  in our posts with a spoiler  
warning?
