mail concerning the Thomas Pynchon "slam" of cowboy
poetry, hence this hopefully not too confusing response.---I assume
you have an interest in this genre, and am hoping you are
acquainted with, or will become acquainted with Paul's work. His

is featuring one of PZ's poems and a mimi-blog this week on the home
page of their website at www.westernfolklife.org.
Paul is considered to be the most progressive and eclectic of the
well established western poets.---If any of this is of interest to you,
please let me know, and I will send you complimentary copies of his
two latest CD's----Also, where can I find the text of Pynchon's
"slam?"  I'm a big fan of the latter, but know nothing of his
connection to cowboy poetry.
