I wouldn't be surprised if there is some indie band called 'Bilocations',
'Iceland Spar' or even 'Chums of Chance'.

'Nunatak, in the Eskimo tongue literally 'land connected,' refers to a
mountain peak tall enough to rise above the wastes of ice and snow that
otherwise cover the terrain. Each, believed to have its own guardian spirit,
is alive, an ark sheltering whatever lichens, mosses, flowers, insects, or
even birds may be borne to it by the winds of the Region. During the last
Ice Age, many of our own mountains in the U.S., familiar and even famous
now, were nunataks then, rising in the same way above that ancient frozen
expanse, keeping the flames of species aglow till such time as the ice
should recede and life resume its dominion.' AtD (139-140)

The rock group Nunatak, made up of five Antarctic scientists aged 22-28
based at the British Antarctic Survey's Rothera Research Station, will
perform as part of the “Live Earth” concert on July 7. They will have a
potential audience – by TV, radio, and internet – of 2 billion viewers.

An indie-folk rock ensemble made up of scientists already stationed in
Antarctica will perform for Live Earth fulfilling Al Gore's promise for
music from 7 continents on 7.7.07. The band Nunatak, the Greenlandic word
that means an exposed summit of a ridge mountain or peak within an ice field
or glacier, will be rocking the ice for their 17 on-site colleagues and also
for, well, the rest of the world. Former Vice President Gore personally
reached out to the band, not that he had many alternatives. Live Earth
organizers did originally explore the idea of flying in performers, but
quickly dropped that when told the continent is pretty much inaccessible
during the winter. The Rothera Research Station itself is on the Antarctic
Peninsula, the fastest warming region on Earth. Temperatures there have
risen by 5 degrees F during the last 50 years. In-depth historical timeline
of how we got here after the jump.
