there may have been a memo from Dr Tracy
indicating his protracted absence riding his
circuit and curing certain isolated ten-dayers,
train robbers and dynamiters (an absence also possibly due
partially to a broken heart inflicted by a certain
Lake Traverse)
if so, osteopaths on call are requested to
report to the operating theatre
