R-girls

Like a variable girl. A girl who hasn't got a clear path yet. A girl who
can still make some choices. Strange term isn't it? I hit google books and
picked up a piece Boundary Value Problems for Elliptic Systems -- where
girls are part of the equation. It's probably a coincidence. But just
curious, did someone special find him attractive? did he get some? I'm sure
we have no idea. I guess we have the list, the letters, the books to check..

I guess maybe so, or why nor Rodeo-girls?  But has anyone ever heard
this term before?  Google turns up nothing.  If there were an
historical entity called such, wouldn't someone have written about it?
