      So it's OK for Howard to retell anecdotes to you and Joe, but it's not
      OK for you to pass them on?  Sworn to secrecy, were you?  If so, you
      should both refrain from even telling others that you know something
      about Bob & Tom that we don't, because it's just a tad bit rude.

      That said, I hope that Joe will refrain from retelling the anecdotes as I 
      have.  I know that's Howard's intention, and Howard is about the most 
      gracious guy you could ever meet.

. . . .yeah, this "cone of silence' thing always struck me a kind of strange, as 
if revealing anything personal or quasi-human concerning OBA will somehow take 
away his magic, cause some skein of stars to unravel.
