Thank You, Mr. Pynchon

Even discounting "Lineland," the many thousands of posts on this list, no
matter that they are, at times, critical of aspects of TRP's work, must have
come to his attention; they demonstrate an appreciation beyond the simple
taking or teaching a course, or a gesture, e.g. an advert in NYT.
That said:

Thank, you, Mr. Pynchon! Thanks to you, I am more than I would have been
without you. Thank you for the intense hours of thought, the laughs, the
tense belly moments, the romance, the heartbreak, and the remembrances of
times lost and forgotten. Thank you for the prose, and the poetry.

Thank you, Sir, may I have another? If AtD was, in fact, your last novel,
then how about a book of some of the poems that would not fit into a novel
or short story? Or, dare I ask, an autobiography? Or a song-cycle?

Subject: Appreciation

I wonder if there is some sort of unobtrusive way of thanking Mr Pynchon for
what he has given us over the years.

a card, a CD, some sort of home-made art work, wha?
