Reclusive novelist appears on 'Oprah'

Me too. And I'd like to add that many women who do NOT watch her
show do listen for her recommendations because some of these women
are bright well-educated, professional women who enjoy good books
but they don't know where to get "advice" on what to read next. I
think they'll appreciate The Road and Middlesex as much as they did
One Hundred Years of Solitude a few years ago.
Here's the list of Oprah books since 1996 and there isn't a Steele or
a Nora Roberts in the bunch (there is a Maeve Binchy though) (lol)
