So I sez:

I'll have to get back to you on this.  I just picked up M&D for the second time.  My first reading, back when it first came out, was infected by the dread disease of "It's not Gravity's Rainbow!"  Not to mention my utter confusion at the surveying & astronomickal terminology, among other things.  But so far (only 20 or so pages in), it is holding up quite well.

But, as I mentioned before, it's a much more humane work than GR, which is a chit in its favor.
