        Laura:
        The vast conspiracy of Them, the military-industrial 
        complex, in GR devolves into the relatively easy to 
        counter, personalized conspirator Scarsdale Vibe, 
        and the general control that Chance and Chaos 
        exert over our lives.  Neither is as gripping as the 
        Them of GR:  Scarsdale's just one man, Chance 
        and Chaos are forces we can't and shouldn't be 
        able to counter.  The M-I Complex presents us 
        not just with paranoia, but the nagging guilt that 
        we ought to be doing something about it.

'cept that Scarsdale Vibe/Foley Walker are pointers to nascent elements
of our current "New" order. Reading the "Vibe" material a'la Charles Hollander,
that little kerosene company is obviously Standard of New Jersey, and we're
back to the same Fiscal Illumanati that pull the strings in GR. A Foley Walker 
follows footsteps as closely as possible, that's their job, making the sounds 
of the footsteps in sound studios while following the film. Prescott Bush 
followed in George Herbert Walker's footsteps and then named his son 
George Herbert Walker Bush who then named his son George Walker Bush. 
The Vibes function in part as a general picture of an American Dynasty in 
decline. But little drop-ins, asides and general comments Bi-locate the Vibes 
in the Bushes.
