I kinda did...
like that early scene where Ada is like, loading up her sensory
memory chest according to strict rules she has...mmm, savory

and where she sits on his lap in the car or something

and the "libelulla wings", and Van's wisecracks, and gnomes in the phone wires
& poor what'sername "this available russe"

I'm crap at puzzles anyway, usually, so that matters not a whit to me.
But I liked the kids, and was pissed that he made it a tragedy.  
Although it'd be a terrible breach of morality not to.  
Confusing book.  Some beautiful passages, though.
