There's no entreance exam.  The SAT scores count (Bush's were on the low side for an Ivy Leaguer), as do the high school transcript, personal recommendations, extracurriculars, etc.  Ultimately, they can let anyone they want in, no matter what their scores or grades.  Bush's family spoke for him, Scarsdale Vibe spoke for Kit.
