Again, apologies for the tardiness and slim pickins so far. I've had
a revolving houseful of guests (2 step-sons w/ their wives and three
grand-tots, then a couple from the West Coast) for the last two weeks,
and I'll lay the blame on that distraction (my wife would've killed me
if I'd just skulked away to read - leaving her as sole host). But
I'll do my best to catch up over the next few days. In the meantime,
feel free to jump in with your own thoughts...

Synopsis for this episode:

After leaving Tesla's "shack" Kit and 'Fax have a friendly rivals'
tete a tete, Kit being the reluctant rival and 'Fax being the "not
mean enough" rival. The object of this rivalry is the affection of
Scarsdale Vibe. Kit posses this object, but doesn't want it. 'Fax
wants this object, but can't get it.

During this tete a tete, both boys put their cards on the table and
discuss their mutual unhappiness with the current state of affairs.
'Fax admits to spying and reporting on Kit's unhappiness to his dad.
Kit admits to knowing 'Fax wants him out of the way, and proposes just
disappearing as an alternative to being murdered by 'Fax. 'Fax
advises a "direct" (but with false religious motives) appeal to
Scarsdale to be allowed to go to Germany to follow his heart's desired
New Vectorist math.

In the next episode (tomorrow) we'll see how Kit follows 'Fax's advice.
