I also have been coveting the Sasuly book. Maybe someday...
(till then, it occurs to me that interlibrary loan could
get me a look at it - good summer reading...)
Btw, the Zappa album that Keith is copping his post titles from
is really pretty classic: "Just another Band from LA"
true, Pynchon never has yet blurbed it... but there are
a number of irresistible singalongs on there...

roommate I had in 1974 who was way crazier than me and who
