sacco and vanzetti

I am reading Binelli's Sacco and Vanzetti Must Die! - good read so
far, fun.  But it got me thinking... is there REALLY no reference to
Sacca and / or Vanzetti in Against the Day?  I didn't notice one in my
first read, and upon searching the Pynchon wiki found nothing.  It
seems like they should have made at least a cursory appearance, but
perhaps it didn't really fit in time-wise.  Curious to see what you
all think.  Awaiting the paperback edition for a second read.
