agreed - I love reading all this stuff... i just hate it when the emails
don't have a spoiler alert warning (not this thread). There are a few here
who really stand out as (in my opinion) "qualified-to-comment-on-Pynchon"
and Monte and Tim are two of them. Now that I think of it - everyone on
this thread (Ya Sam, Mike Bailey, Monroe) except for me all make great,
long, researched and insightful posts that I often, believe it or not print
out and put in a three ring binder (i have one for most BRICKS - IJ, Gr and
now AtD) then read... and reread...

some of all your stuff actually gets highlighted too!!

For example - I have at my desk, three articles from wikipedia (Tunguska,
The Heisenberg Principle and one on Cripple Creek) but next to that are full
print outs of "The Way it happened" (Monte) The Far Cry article (Monroe)
"One Interesting Compound" (by another great poster robinlandseadel (at)
comcast.net) and another of hers about Pan's Labyrinth (which i plan on
watching soon)

and that's just today - so a really huge thanks and job well done and keep
it up... virtual pat on the back to you all.... you make my reading my
favorite author immeasurably more enjoyable.

Thank you all.
Bryan
