Berube, Tolson, Pynchon, reading in bed (was re: Photography)

What's perhaps Berube's most useful, most fundamental
suggestion is that Pynchon--as does, I believe it can
be argued, Derrida--deconstructs binaries by opposing
them to a third term, e.g., a/b//c.  I though I'd
posted at length from him on this here, but I can't
(yet) find anything in the archives, and don't have
the book at hand, so ... well, when I can again ...
