News travels fast: Dr Tesla is looking for employees to assist in his 
Colorado experiment; Kit's urged by his 'sidekick' Jack Gigg to go for 
it, regardless his -or theirs- young age; Kit remembers a previous visit 
to Colorado Springs (99.24-28).

Practically the minute they arrive at the operation, they meet Foley 
Walker, "special assistant to famed financier Scarsdale Vibe" (99.33); 
the next day already Foley presents a deal: becoming a member of Vibe's 
L.I.S.P., education in Yale.  First reaction of Kit: "Horsefeathers" 
(100.18).

It is not nonsense, of course, because, says Foley, "I am he" (100.19), 
which brings us to Foley's story; it goes on until 102.17 and Foley 
concludes that "you could make a case [...] for me being more Scarsdale 
Vibe than Scarsdale Vibe himself. " (102.15-16). "Kit was respectful but 
not convinced."

The final act of seduction is, with the help (?) of Tesla carried out in 
Tesla's office: money wired, account opened.  The "[l]ong night ahead" 
(102.36) will show a most remarkable storm with colours, electricity 
having a strange effect on bullets, and deaf and blind kids "hearing and 
seeing frequencies hitherto unaccounted for in the medical science of 
the day" (103.12-13) and, it turns out, caused a "voltaic frenzy" 
(103.18) in Kit.  Kit makes now the final decision and is ready to sign 
up with Walker/Vibe.

This section concludes with Kit already helping out Tesla.  And again, 
we see an exchange on "seeing it".
