The Greek letter "delta" in math is used to indicate change,
or "difference"
and T stands for time. This would show up in many types
of calculations: the delta-T of a comparison of local time to
GMT would be a valid use;
but the delta-T between 2 points of a trajectory would mark
out a portion of a parabola.

(from here on my ignorance will begin to shine through)

In the latter case, delta-T is related to velocity and (its derivative) acceleration. You can make the delta-T arbitrarily small, and as
that moment shrinks, it's like getting faster film in your camera:
with a small enough delta-T, you're working with a point instead of
a streak. I'd call that differentiation.

Integration would be working from a point and recreating the curve...
given a known point, and known acceleration, one can deduce where it
would go over a given span of time, which obviously comes in handy
if introducing mid-course corrections.

Rather than elaborate exactly what units (heh heh) the axes of a
"sexual encounter" graph would be measured in (I agree with Monte
that a strict or humorless application of the terms of comparison
probably interferes with the ludic sense of the metaphor) I think
the easy, happy and most correct notion is that just as calculus
lets you think about a rocket's flight without actually launching
one...just so, mutatis mutandis with porn.

Delta-T also comes into play with the phrase
"temporal bandwidth" -- I get a sense of yet another dimension
(spiritual?) implied by being able to spread a stance over a
lesser or greater span of time like a person standing in a wide or
narrow stance, vertical dimension - length of legs - determining
how wide the stance can be, or how long the steps, in the horizontal
(ok I'll stop now - far beyond lucidity already)
