AtDTDA 212 Spoiler/Political Spam

The reason why "spam" is on the heading is that the placement of
George W. Bush as the Governor of Jeshimon in Against the Day, 
if it were to come hot off of some net posting by some other author,
then attached to an AtDTDA listing that included quite a number
of related and pertinate items, would qualify as "Political Spam" by 
those previous listers who judged my placement of some recent 
news into the discussion of the novel as inappropriately "political"
for a discussion of Pynchon's writings. "The Governor of Jeshimon" 
is political writing. It is about George W. Bush. He is portrayed in 
Against the Day as a total monster, as a villain's villain. There is no 
other side to this coin.
