Cormac McCarthy

Fwiw,   The Road is now available on audio/digital -  downloadable 
from Itunes.com  or Audible.com or possibly your local library.  The 
narrator, Tom Stechschulte,  is satisfactory.    I've read the paper 
version so I won't be listening, but if you like listening while you 
commute or something  it's a great book although quite different from 
the others  I've read by him.
