I'll certainly take some blame for that. Keep in
mind, I'm at this as often as not from work, where I
can't quite keep books open in font of me. I can work
around this easily enough with the older books, plus
reserch material, with what I can get from "Search
Inside" on amazon.com, Google Books, the Internet in
general, and what I've been dumping into the archives
all these years, but it's not been easy dealing with
the new book this way. What little time I have left
has been taken up for the past couple months with
either the OTHER things I do (an I've little time for
any of that, even, tehse days), or constantly trying
to keep myself off the streets, or in everything from
deep depressions to blind panics, so ...

I've been reading far too slowly in general, I'm not
retaining well (well enough to discuss it) what I've
read, I've been doing extracurricular reading just to
be able to keep reading anything (and The Road REALLY
wiped me out), BUT ...

Having taken it everwhere with me for months to the
point that people ask me what century my copy survived
from, I have it with me again, with at least a little
bit of downtime on the way, so ...

So don't give up, anyone. Thanks ...
