I enjoy indulging in hyperbole, your posts are great, nothing
to worry about from these quarters.
I did find the timing a bit odd, but so is my humor. . . .
I've got a feeling for where you're coming from, spending hours on
a post, get nothing back, FUCVK!!! (alternative Norse spelling)
WHY AM I WASTING MY TIME ON THIS CRAP, but it goes away
soon enough, like the man says, self criticism's an amazing thing
you know, it shouldn't work but it does.
I think some sections of the book will reward deeper investigation than others,
some sections are denser than others. Mind you. the details of the "Vormance
Expedition" are pretty dense. What's coming up will be even denser, and having
a preview copy of DeLillo's "Falling Man" should prove interesting in the
context of the upcoming section
By the way, great job on revitalizing our dying group read,
suddenly there's 43 messages in my in-box on a Saturday.

This is not an easy book, it's at least as dense as GR. But I'm having
loads of fun and have no intention of stopping. Anyway, why the desicion to
stop the moment before we plunge into the novels darkest, most inspired
section? Chicken?
I stand revealed! I didn't really write my post yesterday in an attempt to
revitalize a dying group read: I did it out of sheer terror for the dark
truths about to be unveiled in AtD. I guess my cowardly attempt to suppress
the truth has been exposed.
