I'm gonna get to it tommorow, but right now I'm thinking scrying mirrors. There's a scrying calcite globe later on in the book, an object that will have massive effects on the outcome of certain plotlines. But I've gotta sleep on it first. Anything having to do with reflections, indices of refraction or other means of altering light should be under consideration right here.
