I guess porn is offensive when it bypasses the mind entirely?
Or, when it assumes that id drives overrule ethical imperatives?
Pynchon doesn't do either: not all his sex scenes are even
arousing, he pulls out that stop only sparingly and very judiciously...

insufficient data as to him vis a vis Taormina; but, just as a matter
of taste, I'd be inclined to say "ewww" at the spectacle of an uncle
blurbing his niece's career in erotica - if this be prudery, I'm a prude
