NP - Porn hurting male libido/attitude towards women??

Hmm. Dan. I will respond to your other one, along with Laura (I had to print
both out for a smoke break).

But. I will posit this:

Even if a company hires a bunch of little people, or females that look 16
but really are 18. the film is being meant to be viewed as "underage". now
that means the person seeking it out. this very squickly person. is seeking
out underage sex.

Now, that very action, when extrapolated (??) to a social level is certainly
harmful to children because its fostering the idea of child porn. This
action of getting younger looking girls who are legal but don't look it is
an attempt to provide the person who wants to see a 16 year old with (for
example) some 50 year old because THEY WANT IT. Now the act of a 50 year
old man and a 16 year old girl is clearly wrong, I don't think anyone will
argue that. and if such a scenario is portrayed in a REAL film (one that is
not based on orgasm) or in a real book like Lolita. its portrayed as
something that part of a larger plot. and it is used to pull the reader into
the mind of such characters. But a film based on that premise, young girl
with old d***, is nothing more than an outlet for some seriously sociopathic
individuals. I don't think these people who have this kind of desire should
be allowed to feel they are normal and that society should be able just deal
with it. etc.

Films are obviously light and calculus (using some TRP speak) and they
aren't REAL... but the thoughts in the heads of the viewers are real and
again. that's building up kinetic energy in the heads of people who want to
see little children get. porned. (made up a word).

Just like how serial killers start off with animals and then move to maybe a
random person and then they pick someone and learn about them.

I see/think/feel that this is the same sickness trajectory.

Virtual child pornography squicks me severely, but since no one's forcing me
to look at it, that's not my problem. So long as no children are harmed,
those who want to produce and consume this type of material are fine with
me.

I take it then that, provided no actual children were hurt in the
making, you would not disapprove of child pornography?
