NP In and around Oberhausen

Hi all, am writing this from the Tryp CentrO Hotel
located, as the name betrays, by CentrO, the largest
mall in Europe. The choir are busy practicing "Peer
Gynt" to be performed on Friday at Gasometer, an old,
huge gas storage. (Artists involved in the project
include FM Einheit from Einstuerzende Neubauten.)

But what can one do in this neck of the woods? 
Thomas Eckhardt recommended Villa Hugel, an old
