Palace of Depression

This reads like something out of COL49:

Some time in the late 1890s, a man by the name of George Daynor went to
Alaska in search of gold. Once he discovered it, he used his riches to move to
San Francisco. He built a large home, and invested in the stock market.
However, all too soon, an earthquake destroyed his beautiful home and not too
long after, the New York Stock Exchanged crashed, in what was soon to be known
as the Great Depression.

With $4 left in his pocket, he saw an ad for a piece of land in Vineland,
NJ. He bought the 4 acres, sight unseen. However, when he arrived, he found
the land to be an automobile junkyard. Scattered with car parts, concrete,
glass, and clay, Daynor found respite in a car for the night. That night, he
was visited by an angel in his dreams. The angel told him to build a palace out
of the resources on site, and to name it the Palace of Depression. He awoke and
started on the project.

Following his death in 1964, Daynor was buried in the Pulper Cemetery
on Delsea Dr. The grave is currently unmarked because he had no money.
