I'll get back to this in more detail, but The Crying of Lot 49, Gravity's
Rainbow, Mason & Dixon and Against the Day are all about Illumination
and the Illumanati. In fact, as Charles Hollander has demonstrated many
times, Pynchon's backstory---his family history---is all about the fiscal
Illumanati.
