          Michael Mr Haney Bailey:
tomorrow: I will look up some of the
          historical references of robinlandseadel

'Back in the day' of Against the Day, Pynchon & Company was in the same league
as the Brown Brothers and the Harriman Company. The year the Brown Brothers
merged with Harriman, creating Brown Brothers and Harriman, was the year that
Pynchon & Company went into recievership. As to how or why, I don't know but I
do know when and it's just too close for comfort. Depending on one's appitite
for paranoid conspiracy [something that TRP always displayed a taste for] those
facts could provide a festival or a nuisance.

I say it's the 800 lb. Gorillia in the Room, and it links all the novels.
