The individual illustrations may be hit or miss (though Smith does
have his fair share of hits), but seeing it up all at once was really
something other than else.  Overwhelming, and I never realized, for
example, just how long the Floundering Four episode lasts.  Meanwhile,
those eventful last couple of pages are just that, a couple of pages.
It was a challenge sometimes to work out just what was being
illustrated, but it was always interesting to see what Smith
considered significant (or, at any rate, illustratable).  Now you've
got me poking around for favorites ...
