Siberia experiences rebirth of throat singing

The Russian region of Tuva is home to the strange and yet wonderful
practice of throat singing. It's a type of singing where one person
can produce two or more musical notes at the same time. Throat singing
was heavily controlled in Soviet times, to the point where it almost
died out, but in the past decade it's made a comeback and Tuva's
throat singers are now feted at world music shows in Russia and
abroad.
