Hilary's was smart enough to head into the anti-Hilary-spewing Republican strongholds in upstate New York, listen carefully, and, once elected Senator,do everything in her power to bring them what they desperately needed: economic investment and jobs. They love her now. If she can turn those guys around ...
Remember also, Giuliani's a divorced Catholic whose behavior when he was Mayor often verged on what might be politely described as "manic" (my own pet theory is that, while being treated for prostate cancer prior to 9/11, his doctor put him on mood stabilizers, resulting in the new, presidential Giuliani).
