[...] "He can change, Tace."

"And you're just the angel o' damn mercy's going to change him."

"I know I can [...]" (p. 482).

“The Angel of Mercy was one of the first of the caring Angels, and of all the spirits, this one has to be of extreme compassion, gentleness, and has to have Love radiating from its very being, for no-one can leave this world you live in without being touched by this Spirit. In fact, with very few exceptions, all those about to pass through the Veil, whether Mankind or Animal, will be cradled in the arms of this Loving Entity.

“To this remarkable Loving Messenger of the Holy One, went the task of ensuring that no-one would pass through on their own. If it is a Human passing, then a loved- one is despatched to stand by them, hold their hands, soothe their brow and prepare the way. This is why almost all who pass, do so in peace, with an expression of beauty and calmness, and not simply because the muscles have relaxed in death. Firstly there is no death and secondly the muscles only relax when it is realised that there is nothing to fear.

“From the highest in the land, to the beggar in the street, all pass over in the same way, with a loved-one at their side, every animal in the field held by a carer at it’s time of passing. You may ask of those who are killed by accident, murder or in time of war. I assure you that no passing goes unnoticed. As their time to return home is noted before the birth began, and as this time to return approaches, irrespective of the means of despatch, in these cases of traumatic passing, a number of passed loved-ones gather, and on the instant of death take the hand of the new arrival, these loved-ones sent by the Angel of Mercy, who has already visited.

“It is to be remembered that a very minute number are forbidden this comfort because of terrible wrong committed on this Earth Plane of yours. Even they, though, are given, on passing, the opportunity to repent for their past deeds, and if this is not accepted they are passed to the lowest levels to await their redemption. There are those, who even with loved-ones around them, are so frightened by teachings, of those who should know better, of what they are to expect of death, that they do, for a time, ignore the hands reaching out to them.
