I have to admit that I was surprised to find that I WAS a bit turned
on by Humbert's lustful descriptions at times.  The unappealing brat
shows through numerous times also, but Humbert's lust overcomes all
her shortcomings.  I think he hit the ball out of the park with
Lolita.
