And now leads me to suggest that Humbert Humbert hisself (in Lolita) is very like a 
  character caught in GR's world, say...like that ape who draws the bars that contain him
  in the beginning of L., HH's evil lust is as perversely 'out of control' as the driven sex, the narrow physiology-only sex urges played out in so many scenes in GR......
