Yes, it is a bit stripped-down Deco mixed with a bit of Cubism on its
fringes. And Fritz Lang most definitely comes to mind, but more
accurately Erich Kettelhut, his set designer:

It does look like the cockpit view of a kamakaze attack, but I guess
it's supposed to be the cockpit of the Inconvenience...
